As we start this new year, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your support in 2023! Your trust in our team has not only allowed us to help our friends and neighbors find their dream homes and achieve their real estate goals, but has also empowered us to make a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate in our community. The love and positivity we feel from everyone during this outreach is truly the best gift!
We gathered this holiday to volunteer for My Very Own Blanket to help them in their awesome mission of supporting foster families and the children they serve! For many of our neighbors, Christmas is a very difficult time, and for children in foster care it can be especially hard. MVOB helps support foster children with hand-made blankets that they can take with them from one home to another. Each blanket is personalized with their names so they have something comforting in their lives to call their Very Own. Children entering into foster care are experiencing a very difficult time in their lives, often coming from abusive or neglectful environments, and the support that MVOB gives them a sense of belonging and comfort! We share in their belief that all children should feel wanted and loved and we are so grateful to have this opportunity to support them!
We’ve been looking for all opportunities to give back to our community, and this mission shares the values very close to the heart of EmpowerHome Team. This is why we’re so passionate about helping families through real estate, it allows us to support worthy causes like this and the Fisher House Foundation. Helping these families and fighting for you, the families we serve, through the purchase or sale of a home everyday is an incredible responsibility that we don’t take lightly!
