We are so excited to share this story with you today! Every spring, our EmpowerHome Team-family comes together with our entire Keller Williams family for Red Day to give back to the community! Red Day was started many years ago as a call to our Keller Williams team-family to “Give Where You Live!” This call to serve is very close to our hearts! As you know, our team was founded over 3 decades ago from a desire to serve not only home buyers and sellers at the highest level but, – most importantly – to serve our community.
Before we get to this story, we’d love your help! Many of our neighbors have shared with us how a worthy cause close to them has directly impacted their families, and our favorite stories come from neighbors like you! We often write about Fisher House Foundation because of the amazing impact they have on our community. As a real estate team, we know how important a stable home can be for a struggling family and how homeownership can radically transform them! The awesome transformation that homeownership brings to these families also empowers the wider community. The more families that own a stake in their neighborhoods and achieve their wealth and professional goals, the more the entire community benefits and grows. We share this belief with Habitat for Humanity, and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to serve with them in their quest to build homes for our community. Since 1985, they have helped build over 800 homes in the Raleigh area! For this Red Day, we had the privilege of helping the team start laying the foundation of a brand-new build. It was amazing to be a part of breaking ground for our future neighbors! We are humbled by the volunteers and staff we met, who dedicate their lives to this cause – their love and commitment is nothing short of inspirational!
