Here’s a great volunteer opportunity for people of all ages! On February 8th from 10 am – 12 pm, the Community Farm at Roundabout Meadows in Aldie, VA, needs your help! This spring, Kids for Causes will be volunteering at the Community Farm at Roundabout Meadows, a local initiative by the Piedmont Environmental Council, to provide fresh produce to local families in need. Aldie Mill Historic Park is hosting a Guided Battlefield Tour of Mt. Defiance as apart of the 1863 Battle of Middleburg on February 8th from 1 pm – 4 pm for people of all ages. The tour will study at site features and the battle events in context and will include strategic military aspects of the battle. No admission fee or registration required.
