Let me take you back to a time 10 years ago. I had just gotten my real estate license… I remember it like it was yesterday… we were sitting in an office; it was tiny, with three of us crammed into this little office.  Our rolling chairs were back to back, and we were working. The market was turning, and no one knew what to do.  Houses were sitting, nothing was selling, and we were financially hurting.  Our clients were looking at us in a panic, and in our hearts – if we were to tell the truth, we were a little panicked as well. The phone rang and it was a past client of my Mom’s.  They had bought and sold two homes with her in the past and they were calling asking for advice. “We want to sell our townhome in South Riding” is how the conversation started.  I listened in disbelief as my mom advised them not to sell their home right now, as she knew something was wrong with the market.  She hung up and I asked her why she did that. All that I could think about was the financial burden that we had personally.  My brother was in college and I knew my parents had that bill to pay.  I had a car payment due, and the list went on and on.  She explained to me that day, not by her words, but by her ACTIONS that when you advise a client the ONLY thing you think about are the client’s finances, and what is best for them! She showed me how IF you always put your clients interests above your own, that you will always be taken care of.  She told me that we were going to figure this out, and that we were going to push through this new and tough market, and WE DID! We figured it out, but not on the backs of our clients. We figured it out FOR our clients.  Ten years later, I can tell you that not a week goes by where I don’t think about that day in the little office, where my Mom, my best friend and number one role model, showed me what being the best real estate agent was all about – ALWAYS DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR YOUR CLIENT!

Today is a special day, as it marks my Mom’s 60th Birthday! Mama, THANK YOU for not only being an amazing role model for me as a Mom, and wife, but also being the ultimate role model for our entire team and me! Thank you for showing us that if you always do the right thing for the client, then our personal finances will always be taken care of. Clients will continue to come back to us because they know that when they work with The Reynolds Team, they don’t just get words of “we have integrity, or we do the right thing”, but they see by our

ACTIONS that we are a team of integrity and will always do the right thing for our clients.

Happy Birthday! I love you!!
