Mind Your Mom! 

Kristen Bernard here! Writing about Mother’s Day for Homeward Bound Newsletter in May seems like an obvious (and good!) choice. After all, it marks such a special day for so many special people! I may not have been able to recognize this when I was young, but looking back now, I can recall so much valuable advice from my mom.

This is a quote I think about often, as my babies are no longer babies, but are becoming young adults and are learning to navigate this big world. I often think about how my own Mom must have felt as my sister & I were so eager & excited to “grow up”!

I am cherishing each and every one of the small moments I get, and soaking each one of them in as this time is so, so precious. Being a Mom is truly the greatest gift there is!

I hope you’ll join me, wherever you are, in giving a huge shoutout to all Moms – Happy Mother’s Day!
