Remembering Jen Pagani, true inspiration from a fearless hero!

As we get ready for Run Jen Run on March 21st, we’ve been thinking a lot about what makes our connection to Jen Pagani so special.

Jen was a Charlotte mom and a fierce competitor, even completing Ironman races, when life threw her a curveball: a breast cancer diagnosis shortly after the birth of her second son. What began as her own journey eventually became something much bigger. Rather than just lean on her community, Jen turned that support outward, helping other patients struggling with the financial burden that often comes with treatment. From a simple act of kindness handing out gift cards to fellow chemo patients, her legacy grew into what we now know as The Go Jen Go Foundation.

Today, Go Jen Go continues that legacy by providing critical financial support, helping local families with housing, utilities, transportation, groceries, and more so they can focus on healing rather than bills. To date, the foundation has served thousands of patients and families in the greater Charlotte area, giving real hope where it’s needed most.

Run Jen Run is our community’s opportunity each year to celebrate Jen’s spirit, to run or walk together, to cheer each other on, and to raise funds that help Go Jen Go support families right here at home. Whether you’re participating, cheering from the sidelines, or simply spreading the word, every step and every share matters.

We’re truly grateful for the work of Go Jen Go and for everyone who shows up year after year. Seeing our community rally around causes like this is one of the things I love most about Charlotte.
