Giving without expectation is just who Carter is at heart!

Just recently, we launched a simple idea: a $1K Give Away where our team donates $1,000 to someone that you, our friends & client-family nominate! We want to recognize people in our community that quietly make our community a better place without expecting anything in return.

What happened next reminded us exactly why we love this work.

A neighbor reached out to us about a man who has been dedicating the past 15 years of his life to support families who have fallen through the cracks. What began as collecting spare coats, blanket, and food here and there has grown into a full resource center that serves hundreds of families per month. His name is Carter Morris and he humbly leads Grace Bridge.

We’ve had the honor of meeting Carter before and when we saw his nomination come in we knew he was a perfect pick to celebrate this month. He shares our belief that even small actions can make a huge difference and build something greater than the sum of the parts.

Grace Bridge had just come back from delivering emergency supplies and assistance after a devastating tornado when we surprised him with a check. He was overwhelmed and thanked us through some heavy emotions and tears. This isn’t about recognition or results. It was about who he is and how he consistently blesses others.

But I want Carter and you to know that this thanks 100% belongs to you. Without your support we would not be able to deliver a gift like this. Without your nominations of shining stars in our community like Carter we may not know who is out there making a difference for those that need it the most. And without your introductions to your friends and family we would not have the opportunity to give back to worthy causes in our community.
