Hi there! We couldn’t wait to share this incredible story, it has given so much inspiration to our team! Our friend, and amazing realtor partner, Tony shared with us the story of his lifelong dream of service as a firefighter for Dallas Fire Rescue!
Like many kids, Tony’s childhood dream was simple – he wanted to be a firefighter in his hometown. But his dream was deeper than typical responses to the question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Raised by a hardworking single mom, Tony saw the value of hard work every day from her, and from watching the busy fire station across the street. At this early age, he was inspired by the service and dedication that these men and women give to our community. 
As a high school grad, Tony was inspired to a different kind of service in the Air Force and decided to put his dream on hold but always held it close to his heart. Military service allowed him to travel the world and taught him so much about discipline, teamwork, and integrity. Following his military service, Tony returned home, applied to Station 50, and excelled, quickly becoming the top performer in his class!
With a new baby on the way, Tony was looking for something where he could still serve the community but have the time flexibility to be with his growing family. This is when he was introduced to Real Estate and EmpowerHome Team. Although, he still volunteers in the fire department, this gave Tony the perfect opportunity for what he was looking for. Throughout his years of service, Tony felt that it was a gift and privilege to be a part of something bigger than yourself! We hold this idea very close to our hearts as well so we are truly grateful to have him on our team! This is why we’re so passionate about helping families through real estate, it allows us to be a part of something bigger than ourselves by supporting Children’s Medical and other worthy causes!
