We hope this letter finds you in good spirits! As 2024 is rolling in, we wanted to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a fantastic Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This year has been quite a ride, hasn’t it? Navigating the twists and turns of 2023 has been a challenge, but we love a challenge because it’s an opportunity for growth! This year we helped so many families navigate the real estate market through uncertainty and high inflation.

We shared so many tears of joy with you through tough negotiations and the victories we shared were incredible, they made us remember why we became realtors in the first place! Sharing this journey with you this year was truly rewarding. Even when living through a time when ‘normal’ became a moving target, we stood firm in our commitment to help families find their dream homes and achieve their real estate goals.

As we reflect on this past year, we have our Amazing Client Family, Raving Fans, and community, people like YOU, to thank for supporting our team and allowing us to impact so many families. Over 142 families trusted us to guide them and their introductions through the home selling and buying process! We truly are humbled by this and are so thankful to have had the opportunity to serve them. We welcome each and every one of you to the EmpowerHome Team Family!

One of the most important things to us over the years has been our team’s continued growth and expansion to ensure our clients get extraordinary service. Seeking out talent to add to our already stellar team is a top priority! The extension of many real estate teams can mean a decline in client service, but that is NOT the case with EmpowerHome Team. As we often say, “Teams Win!” Our remarkable team includes Lauren Woodling, Christen Fauntleroy, Corey Bowers, Daryl Hubbard, Justin Davis, Kevin Foster, Kris Roberts, Shannon Fraser, Sheri Thomas, Tasha Ward, Taylor Smith, Tiffany Gilliard, and Yasmin Willis.

As we prepare for amazing things ahead, there are a few key moments from this year that stand out to us:

  • On the top of the list is YOU and the HUNDREDS of introductions you gave to us. Many families trusted us to help sell their homes and because of this, we have continued to support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Turning Point Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, local schools, sports teams, and more, with over $291,000 given in donations to worthy causes this year, all in the name of you, our Client Family!
  • Our team was so privileged to walk alongside TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation’s Cancer Survivors Walk! Supporting our worthy causes, not just in donations, but being there for them and countless other survivors means the world to us! We were in the great company of Hannah, Mallory, and Janae, three amazing physical therapists with TurningPoint who dedicated their lives to helping breast cancer survivors get their lives back. We are forever thankful for them and we’re so lucky to support them as one of our worthy causes!
  • We were also so honored this year to be a part of TurningPoint’s Pink Affair which started humbly as a small silent auction in a living room back in 2001, raising $1,800 for breast cancer support. It has since grown over the past two decades into an amazing gala with the incredible goal of raising $500,000! We are so honored to stand with TurningPoint in this cause!
  • We continued to support our local schools with funding for student events and sports programs! We also gave out $5,000 in scholarships to local students at these schools to kickstart their higher education goals! We loved reading all of your entries in our scholarship writing contest, you captured the essence of our community perfectly!
  • Our team supported Feed a Veteran 5k, an amazing worthy cause dedicated to providing warm meals to homeless veterans in our community. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to give to these families and help them through this challenging time.
  • We have continued our expansion throughout the Atlanta market and have found astonishing agents in the area that uphold EmpowerHome Team values while serving our clients!
  • Speaking of expanding… with your help and the introductions you give, we are continuing to grow and impact more families! As our team has grown we have the opportunity and privilege to impact more families like yours, we are so honored to empower families and our community through one of the most significant parts of life—their home!
  • Inc. Magazine recently revealed that EmpowerHome Team is ranked number 1,943 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies! We continue to grow and are moving up spots year after year! We are incredibly honored to be recognized alongside so many renowned small businesses and are blessed that our life-long vision to make a massive impact on the world is coming to fruition!

This year I spent a lot of quality time with my husband, Tyler, and my son Townsend! Townsend is loving The Schenck School and being surrounded by friends! He has been so busy with baseball and is growing so fast! My cat, Indy, is a joy for the whole family, she is such a sweet little cuddle bug!

This year marked a huge personal moment for me. Two years have passed since my second breast cancer treatment, and I am so grateful to have no evidence of disease! To mark this moment of victory, on my 40th Birthday, I set out to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. Without a doubt, this was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life; challenging me mentally, physically, and emotionally. And to top it all off, last month I ran my first marathon in the NYC Marathon! Through this difficult journey, I gained so much inspiration from the cancer patients and survivors at TurningPoint. The willpower and determination of these amazing friends and neighbors lifted all our spirits during what was a difficult year.

I’m so thankful for everyone at TurningPoint, they have been such a pillar of support for me when I needed it most! I am also so grateful for my incredible Team Family, we all get so much inspiration and support from each other! And especially my amazing husband, who has been such a wonderful partner and dad while I underwent surgeries and hospital stays. We have grown much closer in our relationship, and I have such a deep respect for him as an amazing human being! I believe that my positive mindset, resilience, and the support of my friends, family, team, and community helped me through the biggest fight of my life, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to pay it forward by being that support for someone else in need.

We pray that 2024 brings blessing and prosperity to you and your family! We are committed to helping even more families reach their real estate goals, but we can’t do this without the help and support of our Forever Clients, friends, and family!
