We hope this letter finds you in good spirits! As 2024 is rolling in, we wanted to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a fantastic Christmas and a Happy New Year!
This year has been quite a ride, hasn’t it? Navigating the twists and turns of 2023 has been a challenge, but we love a challenge because it’s an opportunity for growth! This year we helped so many families navigate the real estate market through uncertainty and high inflation.
We shared so many tears of joy with you through tough negotiations and the victories we shared were incredible, they made us remember why we became realtors in the first place! Sharing this journey with you this year was truly rewarding. Even when living through a time when ‘normal’ became a moving target, we stood firm in our commitment to help families find their dream homes and achieve their real estate goals.
As we reflect on this past year, we have our Amazing Client Family, Raving Fans, and community, people like YOU, to thank you for supporting our team and allowing us to impact so many families. Over 98 families trusted us to guide them and their introductions through the home selling and buying process! We truly are humbled by this and are so thankful to have had the opportunity to serve them. We welcome each and every one of you to the EmpowerHome Team Family!
One of the most important things to us over the years has been our team’s continued growth and expansion to ensure our clients get extraordinary service. Seeking out talent to add to our already stellar team is a top priority! The extension of many real estate teams can mean a decline in client service, but that is NOT the case with EmpowerHome Team. As we often say, “Teams Win!” Thank you to my remarkable team Glenn Kirby, Erica Long, Bob Kirby, Daniel Harrington, Ebony Allen, Mario Mitchell, Mona Kile, Olga Ryadnov, and Tony Lee.
As we prepare for amazing things ahead, there are a few key moments from this year that stand out to us:
- On the top of the list is YOU and the HUNDREDS of introductions you gave to us. Many families trusted us to help sell their homes and because of this, we have continued to support the Go Jen Go Foundation, local schools, sports teams, and more, with over $291,000 given in donations to worthy causes this year, all in the name of you, our Client Family!
- Our team of runners ran in the Army 10-Miler Race as “Team Fisher House” and raised over $36,395 for the Fisher House Foundation, thanks to a donation match from Debbie and Sarah! This is over 5 times the amount you helped us raise last year! We are so excited to continue that growth and give back to this amazing worthy cause!
- We continued to support our local schools with funding for student events and sports programs! We also gave out $5,000 in scholarships to local students at these schools to kickstart their higher education goals! We loved reading all of your entries in our scholarship writing contest, you captured the essence of our community perfectly!
- Our team supported Feed a Veteran 5k, an amazing worthy cause dedicated to providing warm meals to homeless veterans in our community. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to give to these families and help them through this challenging time.
- With your help we supported Go Jen Go this year in many fundraising events, including the Run Jen Run 5k Fundraiser. Their dedication to serving breast cancer patients and survivors in our community is so inspirational to our team and we are so grateful for any opportunity to help this worthy cause!
- We collected over 800 pounds of food for Second Harvest Food Bank for Thanksgiving meals for those who need it the most in our community. We are so thankful to give back to these families and help them through what can be a challenging time.
- We have continued our expansion throughout the Charlotte market and have found astonishing agents in the area that uphold EmpowerHome Team values while serving our clients!
- Speaking of expanding… with your help and the introductions you give, we are continuing to grow and impact more families! As our team has grown we have the opportunity and privilege to impact more families like yours, we are so honored to empower families and our community through one of the most significant parts of life—their home!
- Inc. Magazine recently revealed that EmpowerHome Team is ranked number 1,943 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies! We continue to grow and are moving up spots year after year! We are incredibly honored to be recognized alongside so many renowned small businesses and are blessed that our life-long vision to make a massive impact on the world is coming to fruition!
On the family side of things, Glenn and I have been beyond blessed in 2023. We love watching our children grow and develop in their own ways. Drew and Beckham have been all about sports this year, Drew played in a lot of golf tournaments this year and was stoked to get his first hole-in-one, he was also a catcher all year on two separate baseball teams, and is picking up lacrosse! He’s only 11 years old, so much energy! The oldest, Laney is driving now and is counting down the hours until her 16th birthday. She was also a camp counselor over the summer and absolutely LOVED it! Selwyn has been riding horses and loves spending time at the barn. All the kids swam on the neighborhood swim team this year, and the oldest was even asked to help coach. Young leaders in the making! 🙂 The whole family was able to reconnect with relatives and disconnect from the world for a few weeks this year, being able to truly be unplugged with them for an extended time was the best gift!
Glenn and I have been busy this year attending charity events for St. Jude & Go Jen Go, two incredibly worthy causes! Supporting these and other worthy causes this year has been a true gift, we are so grateful to have the opportunity to give back to families in our community that need it the most!
We pray that 2024 brings blessing and prosperity to you and your family! We are committed to helping even more families reach their real estate goals, but we can’t do this without the help and support of our Forever Clients, friends, and family! We would be honored if you introduced us to anyone you know who is considering making a move in 2024.
