Real estate is never just about homes, it’s about people and family. I have the privilege of walking alongside families through critical moments as they grow. One of those families really touched me over the years and I wanted to share their story with you today.

I met a lovely couple through a friend many years ago and helped them buy and sell several homes as their family grew. I watched them celebrate milestones, welcome new children into their family, and build a life beautiful together. We got the opportunity to meet-up several times every year and, like all of the families I have the privilege of serving, they felt like part of my own family.

Recently, their children called us again, this time to help their parents transition into assisted living. It was a difficult chapter, but it’s truly one of the greatest honors I’ve been trusted with. It was great seeing them in their new home surrounded by support and love.

Sadly, these amazing friends both passed away recently, just within a couple months of each other. They’ve been reminding me that real estate is about more than contracts written or keys exchanged. Those things matter, but what’s critical is the way that homes bring people together, creating space for family, love, and belonging.

These are the same reasons why I care so deeply about adoption services like CCS, they help babies and children find a loving family of their own. Just as homes provide a foundation for families to grow, adoption gives children the gift of family itself – a place where they are loved, cared for, and truly belong.

Your trust and the introductions you’ve made, to friends, family, and neighbors, mean everything. Each one fuels our mission to give back. With every introduction, we get the opportunity to give back and help support adopting families here in Colorado and other worthy causes close to our hearts. With gratitude,
